As she walks on the Malibu beach in her tiny white bikini Mel B flaunts a toned figure that any new mother would be proud to own.

But the photos, released by publicists as she launched her new fitness DVD, seem strangely familiar.

The former Spice Girls's outift and pose are reminiscent of those of her former bandmate Geri Halliwell after her dramatic weight loss in 2001.

Geri's photos were a sensation, with people clamouring to find out how she had lost her weight. She put it down to yoga, and launched a successful Yoga DVD to cash in on the interest.

Perhaps Mel B is hoping for a similar effect as she walks her dog in Malibu.

The 33-year-old mother of two has announced the launch of her first fitness DVD, Totally Fit, which will be released on December 29.
