Chantelle Houghton cheers up injured footballer beau Jermain Defoe with a sunshine break

Chantelle Houghton and Jermain Defoe's burgeoning relationship appears to be getting serious - they've taken their first holiday together.

The reality star-turned-WAG and Tottenham Hotspur striker have left England's winter weather for a romantic Valentine's break in Dubai.

Defoe, 26, is currently taking time of out the beautiful game after suffering a freak toe injury during training last month.

While Defoe took things easy on a beach sunlounger, Chantelle flaunted her surgically-enhanced 32DD chest in a skimpy black bikini.

The Celebrity Big Brother star, 25, played nurse on the beach and affectionately tended to her injured beau, who hopped on to the beach with crutches.

Jermain's suspected broken toe is the second injury he has received in the brief few months of his relationship with Chantelle.

When the couple got together in November, Jermain was recovering from a calf injury during his season on loan to Portsmouth.

Weeks after returning to Spurs this season, Jermain was ruled out of the game for a month after injuring his toe, leaving him plenty of time to enjoy the attentions of his new WAG.

Despite her acquisition of a footballer boyfriend and her love for fake tan and hair extensions, Chantelle denies she is a WAG.

She said: 'I don't think of myself as a WAG. I can understand why people like Coleen Rooney are called WAGs because that's how they're known in the public eye. But I'm known for Celebrity Big Brother and I'm just Chantelle.

'Things are going brilliantly. He makes so happy and it's such a good feeling. I think he could be The One. I hope so anyway.

'Now I'm totally over Preston and the time was right for me to meet Jermain.'

Her new romance is said to riled Jermain's ex-girlfriend and rival glamour model Danielle Lloyd.

Danielle, another alumni from Celebrity Big Brother, dated Jermain for two months in early 2008 after he ended his engagement to Charlotte Mears - a sometime party companion of Chantelle.

At the beginning of his career, Jermain was also romantically linked to David Beckham's sister Joanne, who still remains friends with the sportsman.

Besides a brief romance with Jennifer Ellison's ex-boyfriend Tony Richardson, Chantelle has been largely single since she split from ex-husband Samuel Preston after just 10 months of marriage.

The couple married in a lavish wedding in August 2006, just seven months after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother.

Big Brother veterans Chanelle Hayes and Chantelle Houghton joined forces to show this year's evictees Dale Howard and Stuart Pilkington a good time last night.

The party girls took the former housemates to their favourite celebrity haunt, Chinawhite.

Chanelle has previously admitted to having a crush on Dale, much to the ire of his girlfriend Jennifer Clark, who was noticeably absent from the outing.

Talking about her upcoming debut single, she has said: "The song actually sounds a bit like recent Britney.

"To be able to go on iTunes and download my own song is a massive achievement for me. But I'm taking it slowly."
