And now Victoria looks... natural. She looks like she did when she was 10 years’ younger. Smaller. It suits her – she is a slim, whippet-thin girl. She is simply not constructed to be walking around with a couple of giant air bags in front of her.

It is not just cosmetic surgery that can change a woman’s curves. Time does it. So does having children. And bras can make breasts rise and fall like the Roman Empire.

“I’m completely natural,” Victoria’s said, and – whatever she’s had done or not done before – it is certainly true now.

And she looks terrific.

She looks the way she is meant to look. Her ever-changing breasts are back to roughly where they should be.

Even if Victoria has always been as natural as a tub of organic yoghurt, her ever-changing shape reminds us that breast enhancement – sorry, but if I say, “fake boobs” then I will have to slash my wrists – is always a rotten idea.

Women think men like fake breasts but, in fact, we hate them. They feel like something you buy from IKEA. They make any kind of tumour infinitely harder to detect. They cause pain, loss of sensitivity and loss of symmetry.

Natural from her hair to her painted toenails Victoria may be yet she is a role model for growing girls thinking of getting on the butcher’s slab.

Breast enhancement is an act of female mutilation. In 50 years, it will be seen as an act of insanity. Victoria Beckham’s pert, natural look is ­definitely the way to go.

Calculating Posh swaps her handbag for maths books as she plays the doting mum (in ripped denim hotpants and tiny vest)

She's usually seen toting one of her hundred Hermes bags, so it was quite a change of image for Victoria Beckham to be seen with a stack of books instead.

The former Spice Girl was seen leaving a Los Angeles book store with the literature, which appeared to be a set of maths books and learning aids.

But for once, the 35-year-old was not shopping for herself. Eldest son Brooklyn, 10, appeared seconds later to take the load from his mother.

Looking healthy and relaxed, Victoria had shunned her signature heels - perhaps for the first time ever - in favour of simple brown flip flops.

Sipping their morning coffees, the pair appeared to be enjoying a little one-on-one time.

They were joined on the trip by an assistant and two body guards who followed a short distance behind.

The Beckham family look set to remain in the U.S. despite LA Galaxy fans' recent backlash against Victoria's husband David.

He had an ugly confrontation with spectators during his first home game for the club after a five-month spell in Italy with AC Milan.

But he has said he is happy to continue playing in the States for now.

He said: 'When it happens, sometimes it can become a distraction for me and the team.

After being persuaded by Italian fashion boss Giorgio Armani to pose in the series of adverts, the 34-year-old reveals her enviable figure in a polka-dot bra and high-cut thong set which leave little to the imagination.

The mother-of-three has complained in the past that she looks 'really awful naked'.

But her lack of confidence is not evident as she sprawls langorously on the carpet of a dimly-lit hotel room in the film-noir style shoot.

'There are loads of things I don't like about my body', she said. 'I've got so much saggy skin on my stomach.'

The pictures of Victoria, which will grace billboards and magazines are from her first shoot in the three-year multi-million pound deal.

'She was intrigued and when she got back to the US she found that some New York beauty salons now offer the treatment.

'She tried it and loved how great her skin looked. She also uses a cream derived from nightingale poo at home.'

With Katie Holmes otherwise occupied, it seems Gwen Stefani is now filling Victoria Beckham's best friend vacancy.

The pair teamed up to take their sons on a power play date in Hollywood yesterday.

The boys – Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, Cruz, 3, and Gwen's son Kingston, 2 – hit popular American pottery studio Colour Be Mine under the watch of their superstar mothers.

The WAGs were out in full force last night - and there wasn't a shop in sight.

The wives of two of England's biggest stars dressed up in their finery to support their husbands in the first major international of the season.

And if the players were looking to make an impression on new boss Fabio Capello, it was also important to Victoria Beckham and Coleen McLoughlin to stand out in the Wembley crowd.

But no amount of cheering could have helped the England side as they toiled to a 2-2 friendly draw with the Czech Republic.

Actress Eva Longoria must be desperate for fashion tips, as the Desperate Housewives star appears to be taking plenty of inspiration from her friend Victoria Beckham.

As the 33-year-old actress stepped out in Hollywood wearing sunglasses and a black cadet cap, much like her former Spice Girl friend.

Victoria Beckham can't kiss to save her life, says film has-been Corey Haim, who briefly dated the former Spice Girl before she married husband David.

Haim, 36, known in the '80s for his role in The Lost Boys, claims that Victoria gnawed on his lips and made a strange grrhh sound when they kissed.

The pair met in 1995 when Victoria was at a London recording studio with her Spice Girl bandmates. They were 'soulmates', says Haim, who claims Posh was so serious about him that she took him to her family home - where her parents warned him off visiting her bedroom at night.

Posh and Becks renew their vows in secret ceremony - and have matching tattoos

David and Victoria Beckham have renewed their marriage vows in a secret ceremony - and had matching tattoos as a permanent reminder of the occasion.

The footballer organised the whole ceremony at Beckingham Palace himself and only told a stunned Posh on the day.

Only a handful of friends and family were at the intimate ceremony in a marked contrast to the lavish nature of their first wedding nine years ago.

One friend said after the ceremony: "We were in tears. It was beautiful and very non-showbiz."

Back in 1999, Posh and Becks had tied the knot in an Irish castle in front of a cast of thousands and famously also had an ostentatious throne each to sit on.

Wall-to-wall pictures of the day were published in a lucrative magazine deal, but this time they have managed to keep the ceremony under wraps for almost two years.

As a permanent reminder of the day, they now have matching tattoos of the Roman numerals VIII.V.MMVI, which stand for the date of the ceremony - March 8, 2006.

Posh, 33, had the tattoo done two weeks later and also has the Latin phrase De Integro meaning "Again from the start" above the date. David, 32, has the same phrase tattooed on his body.

He arranged the whole day without even telling Victoria, according to the Daily Mirror.

A stunned Posh gasped "Yes" and the couple went on to renew their vows with their two older sons Brooklyn and Romeo looking on as page boys.

Victoria later told a friend: "It was the second best day of my life - after our first wedding."

David began masterminding the couple's second wedding after they had their third son, Cruz, while he was playing for Real Madrid.

He secretly invited their closest friends and family and even had a white dress made to fit his wife.

A friend said: "David was meticulously planning the big day for months. It was a huge undertaking to keep it all under wraps.

"He was desperately excited but had had to keep quiet with everyone but his and Victoria's closest family.

"Only a handful of people were at the ceremony and they've managed to keep it under wraps for nearly two years.

"It was an incredibly beautiful day and everyone lucky enough to be present was in tears when they repeated their vows.

"It was simple, beautiful and very non-showbiz. It was about them as a couple and a family unit - not glitz and glamour."

"Victoria couldn't believe the lengths he had gone to to make it a perfect day - she was truly lost for words.

"He had personally overseen everything, from the flowers to the cake - even a beautiful white dress he knew she had her eye on."

David did not even stop there, and the next day whisked his wife to Paris where he showered her with gifts.

The friend added: "David took her shopping to Azzedine Alaia and Colette, two of her favourite stores, and told her to choose anything she wanted as a wedding gift.

"Their suite was filled with hundreds of roses. It was like a dream come true - the setting could not have been more beautiful.

"Everything was perfect - and Posh's tattoo with the date of the event reminds her of it every day."

The Beckhams' marriage appears to have had a new lease of life since the couple moved to the U.S. last year after David signed with LA Galaxy.

He accompanied Victoria during part of the Spice Girl reunion tour and during a family day out in December they appeared more in love than ever.

It has not always been so - particularly during David's playing days at Real Madrid when he allegedly had an affair with his assistant, Rebecca Loos.

Loos sold her story to a tabloid newspaper in April 2004 and blamed David's wandering eye on Victoria's lack of commitment to life in Spain.

The couple also narrowly avoided airing their dirty laundry in public when they dropped out of a libel action against a newspaper in 2006.

They sued after the paper claimed their marriage was a sham and little more than a business arrangement.

The case eventually ended with a "confidential settlement" after two years of legal wrangling and never went to court.

The Spice Girls have cancelled their world tour after just two months of performances and two continents amid reports of poor ticket sales.

So far, they have performed in the UK, Canada, the US and in Madrid and Cologne in Europe.

But instead of playing dates in Australia, Argentina, and China the five will finish the reunion tour in Toronto on February 26.

After they were presented with a new tour schedule the friend said to the Daily Mirror: "Mel B wasn't having any of it. She misses her husband and children and said she couldn't go on. She's also been flooded with US offers after her success on Dancing With Stars.

"Mel C agreed it was time to call it a day. She was the least excited about it. She also feared it might jeopardise her solo career."

Officially, a spokesman for the girls said: "Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria.

The groups stuck loosely to the characters they had when they first formed: Ginger, Sporty, Baby, Posh and Scary

"It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina.

"Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in.

"As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options. Who knows what the future might bring."

The Spice Girls said: "We've had such an amazing time over the last three months.

"It's been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again.

"We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we've really been able to appreciate it properly this time.

"There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto.

"Really sorry if we didn't get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next."

The tour was originally meant to last until June but the dates in Cape Town, Buenos Aires, Beijing and Sydney were first cancelled apparently so the group could play extra nights in London. They had not been rescheduled.

The spokesman told the Mail then: "The plan is for these dates to happen."

But last night the spokesman admitted: "The decision came out of America. The girls want to get back to their families - it's not about lack of demand.

"Sorry - we appear to have been duped."
