Drunk Actress Mahie Faces Embarrassment After 6 Vodka Shots | Celebrities

Mahie Gill, an 'up and coming' actress in the Hindi film industry underwent something remarkable in recent times. Any kind of preparation is acceptable for the effective enactment of a character in a film. This is a slogan that numerous actors and actresses in the Hindi film fraternity abide by today.

However, Mahie transported her deference for this slogan to an entirely new and attention-grabbing level during the shooting of her forthcoming celluloid release which is Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangstar, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

What happened was that, during the filming of an important scene of this film, the script demanded that Mahie be inebriated. Mahie underwent exceeding uneasiness over this particular scene as she deemed that she couldn't enact it realistically.

Therefore, Mahie resolved to guzzle six shots of vodka prior to emerging on the set.

However, she didn't realize that six shots would be a bit too much for her mind to tolerate. As the film's crew kept providing her the shot mark, Mahie acted out the entire scene in a forceful fashion. Nevertheless, she had to be carried back to her room after the shooting as she was uncontrollably drunk.

Mahie Gill has established a niche for herself in the Hindi film community within a short time. She is widely recognized for her superlative enactment of the character of Paro in Dev D, which was a Hindi film directed by Anurag Kashyap, which attained colossal critical adulation.

Dev D represented a contemporary celluloid version of the Bengali novella Devdas inscribed by the legendary Indian, Sarat Chattopadhyay.

Mahie also procured the Critics' Award for Best Actress in 2010 at the prestigious Filmfare ceremony. She commenced her career in Punjabi movies prior to penetrating the Hindi film industry with Dev D and achieving acclaim here.

Mahie is scheduled to emerge opposite the skillful actor, Irrfan Khan, in a Hindi movie titled, Paan Singh Tomar.

Aditi Rao and Arunoday Singh kiss record 22 times

Yeh Saali Zindagi might set a new record in celluloid smooching. Arunodoy Singh (last seen making violent love to Raima Sen in Vinay Shukla's Mirch) and Aditi Rao (Sonam Kapoor's bua in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi 6) are the couple in question.

"Aditi and Arunodoy play a young couple based in Delhi. They kiss every time they quarrel. And they quarrel a lot, " says Mishra.

Mishra's memory freezes the figure at "around 20 or 22". A kiss is a far more aesthetic and natural expression of love than hip-shaking, believes the director, who has in the past had to do away with kissing scenes because the actors in question were reluctant.

No such issues with Rao and Singh, though.

Singh comes from a political family. His grandfather Arjun Singh is a prominent politician. Rao's grand-uncle Sir Muhammed Saleh Akbar Hydari was the governor of Assam, and she is married to actor Satydeep Mishra (who played Rani Mukerji's boss in No One Killed Jessica).

The two were mildly apprehensive of how their families would react, but Mishra's directorial experience saw their reservations fade quickly.

The censorboard, already upset over the film's title, is unlikely to take gently to the the avalanche of smooches.

"I am not bothered. If the censors think kissing is evil, I'll ask them to get a reality check. We can't manage with flowers quivering on screen. The audience will guffaw at us!" says Mishra.

After celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary on December 20 at the O Resort and Spa at Candolim beach in Goa, Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan threw another party for their friends the next day at the Marbella Beach Resort on Morjim Beach.

The beach party, held at night, was attended by many Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal and Meher Jesia, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Mozez Singh, Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor and Kajal Anand, among others.

Hrithik and Sussanne cut an anniversary cake prepared specially for them by the resort's chief chef.

The Roshans were in Goa for four days with their friends whom they had taken along to celebrate their anniversary.

Jim Carrey's Daughter Splits From New Husband After Giving Birth

Jim Carrey's daughter Jane has split from her husband after a year of marriage.

The 23-year-old married Alex Santana last year and they have a nine-month-old son Jackson Riley together.

However a spokesperson for Carrey has confirmed that the pair have now split.

The representative said: 'The couple will remain friends, as well as devoted parents to their 9-month-old son, Jackson Riley.'

Jackson is their only child together and was born in February this year just three months after Jane and Santana married.

The I Love You Philip Morris star proudly tweeted at the time: 'Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of California dynamite looks like!'

Jane's mother is Jim's ex-wife Melissa Womer, who he divorced in 1995.

After Jane announced her pregnancy last year, Jim said: 'I am very excited. Jane is going to be a great mom.'

Jane is a singer/songwriter, while her husband goes by the stage name Nitro with his rock band Blood Money.

She said in a recent interview she hoped to be able to balance motherhood with her musical career.

She said: 'I’ve always wanted to be a mother and I’ve always wanted to do music, so to have the two together, it’s just awesome. It’s a dream come true.'

Priyanka Refuses to Dance in a Hotel Even For Rs. 3 Crore

SRK actually kissing a dude?

Shahrukh Khan has appeared in quite a few movies where he has acted in jest of being attracted to a man, just for the fun of it. However, one really never knows when certain gestures in real life become hot topic for discussions and create havoc.

Thus when a certain picture of SRK in a smick and smack gesture with another man started doing the rounds on the web, there began speculations of all kinds.

The picture that is doing the rounds is of Shahrukh Khan and John Barrowman giving each other a peck on the lips!

The image was taken some time back when the two had appeared on the Jonathan Ross show. Perhaps there's nothing much there, except for some formal greeting, but then considering some of the movies that are being made this gesture has incited a lot of excitement.

Sonakshi Sinha molested by media men

Bollywood actors and paparazzi often face-off during various events. Recently, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were boycotted by media persons for being too late for an event. The latest reports suggest that the Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha is now pissed off with the paparazzi.

What happened with Sonakshi? Did media boycott her too? Well, here the situation is different. Few days back, the 23-year-old actress attended an event to show her respect on the occasion of 26/11 anniversary. An NGO organized this event to fight against the terrorism. But ironically, they could not even safeguard a young actress from some rowdy men.

As per the reports, a group of men got so close to her that Sonaskhi started feeling very uncomfortable. They even touched on her shoulder and arms and it was almost like trying to molest the actress.

It was thought that those men were her fans but the actress clarified the point by posting her view on a micro blogging website.

Sonakshi said that she was not at all traumatized and neither is she crying but she is totally pissed off with those men, whom she identified as the media persons and their cameramen. This made her totally pissed off with the paparazzi.

If those rowdy men were really media people then the Sonakshi's anger was totally justified because if they don't have basic sense of respecting a lady then how can then report a news with responsibility!

Shocking: Manisha Koirala to split?

The actress posts her thoughts on wanting a divorce five months into her marriage on Facebook, then immediately deletes it. Says she wrote it during a "moment" and that it was "silly"

The social network brings its own share of troubles. In a moment of emotion and/or anger, you end up posting a status that reaches hundreds and then thousands and millions of people in minutes.

Manisha Koirala knows this. Yet last Friday posted on her Facebook that she planning to get a divorce after only five months of marriage and hoped that the decision wouldn't hurt her parents.

Within a a few hours of posting that status, the actress deleted it but the message had gone out into the cyber world and then through word of mouth to everyone.

Concerned friends and well wishers kept calling to the recently-married actress what had gone wrong. Some offered advice, "Things are always bad in the first few months."

While other offered support, "whatever you decide, we are with you.

The shocker

The actress appeared happy after her marriage and had even spoke about wedded bliss after coming back from her honeymoon in Sievi, Finland.

Off and on, she'd keep posting on her social networking account about how helpful and loving her husband was. So friends were shocked at her post.

But soon thereafter, Manisha deleted her post followed but it continued to reflect her state of turmoil. The actress has had a few traumatic relationships in the past.

Why she deleted it

Friends close to Manisha brush off the rumours. "She is very happy with Samrat (Dahal). Like most normal couples, they must have had a fight and she must have put up the post.

She's very emotional and whenever she's upset, she reveals her feelings. It's nothing serious and by now, I am sure Manya must be regretting putting up the post which is why she deleted it, " says a friend Koirala, who is currently in Mumbai for a few days, says, "I am super happy (with Samrat).

I was angry when I wrote that post. Sometimes I just react and write silly things. I deleted the post because I realised that it would be taken seriously."
