Danielle Bux, the fiancée of former England star Gary Lineker, hit the town last night with a girl's favourite accessory - her sparkling engagement ring.

Wearing a strapless purple minidress, and black patent Christian Louboutin shoes, Danielle looked radiant days after it was revealed she is set to wed the 47-year-old Match of the Day presenter after a year-long romance.

The 29-year-old former air hostess was smiling broadly as she posed at the after-party following the premiere for film Tropic Thunder.

Mother of one Danielle has broken her silence on her relationship with Lineker, and has finally revealed just what attracted her to the star, who is 18 years older than her.

She told The Daily Star: 'I was surprised at home much younger and more handsome he looked in the flesh he looked than on TV. I thought he was lovely. '

Lineker has already moved into a new six-bedroom mansion which is less than half a mile from his old bachelor pad.

And the couple are said to be planning a Christmas wedding.

A source confirmed: 'They've talked about a Christmas wedding and Dani thinks it would be incredibly romantic.

'They're just trying to plan the finer details now to see if it could work.'

Danielle and Lineker will share their plush home with her daughter - by ex-Coventry City player Adam Willis - Ella, 6.

The couple met on a blind date after being set up by a mutual friend last year. And soon enjoyed a string of holidays in exotic locations including Europe and Barbados.

Since starting her relationship with Lineker, Danielle has landed a contract with lingerie company La Senza.

The former Virgin Air stewardess said: 'The approach from La Senza came out of the blue but the pictures have turned out to be fantastic.

'The range is really gorgeous and I love showing off the sets to my boyfriend.'

Gary, the face of Walker's crisps, was divorced from his wife Michelle two years ago.

They have four sons together, George, 16, Harry, 14, Tobias, 12, and Angus, 10.

Gary Lineker's model fiancée stops traffic with new lingerie ad campaign on a pink bus

The future Mrs Lineker got back down to business in London today with a racy lingerie shoot.

Newly engaged Danielle Bux braved the drizzly weather in a tight skirt and corset to launch a new bra-fitting bus and raise awareness of the perils of wearing the wrong size.

She even managed to make a bus ride look enjoyable as she swung off the side of a bright pink Routemaster for the shoot.

The bra-fitting bus is being launched by lingerie chain La Senza to encourage women to ensure their bra fits properly.

Danielle, 29, who is a 32DD, said: 'The wrong bra size can be painful, ruin your posture and dent your confidence.

'Whatever your figure, you need to have the best bra and it really is a shame that so many women wear ill-fitting bras.'

The model added that her bra was her most important piece of clothing.

The bus, which incorporates four bra-fitting rooms and a sales area, will make its first stop at Lakeside Shopping Centre tomorrow and will tour the country in the run-up to Christmas.

Danielle was joined by two other underwear models who seemed oblivious to the cold and damp, posing in nothing but bright pink bras, knickers and stilettos.

La Senza said it was donating 50p to a local charity for every woman fitted on board the bus.

Danielle's engagement to Gary Lineker was confirmed earlier this week after she was spotted wearing a sparkling ring on her finger.

The Match Of The Day presenter proposed to Danielle, 18 years his junior, a month ago and she accepted immediately.

Flash of the day as Gary Lineker films bizarre new Walkers ad

Gary Lineker gets more than he bargained for in the new Walkers crisps advert when he is flashed by a middle-aged woman.

The Match of the Day host, 47, is walking down a busy street when he is startled by a blonde who opens her jacket, seemingly revealing her breasts.

However, the camera pans round to reveal she is keeping her assets covered with a strategically placed sign, which contains a suggestion for a new Walkers flavour 'spring chicken'.

The new ad, which launches tonight, sees members of the public bombard Lineker with flavour ideas as part of the 'Do Us A Flavour' campaign.

The winner of the contest will not only see their flavour idea become a reality, but they will also win £50,000 prize money and one per cent royalties of their flavour's sales.

The ad begins with Lineker playing his second favourite sport after football, golf, when he is hit on the head with a golf ball reading 'soya sauce'.

Soon enough, Lineker is diving for cover as it rains down with hundreds of golf balls baring flavour ideas.

Another day out, this time at the football, is ruined for Gary when the crowd starts spelling out 'pork pie'.

The promo marks Lineker's 73rd ad for Walkers, who started working with the snack giant in 1995.

He said: 'I have to admit when I heard the shoot was set on a golf course and in a footie stadium I thought I’d have a nice relaxing day of filming.

'What they didn’t tell me was that I’d be pelted with golf balls, chased by a crowd of crazy crisp fans and covered head-to-toe in post-it notes.'

Lineker in love: Gary and Danielle can't hide their love as they cuddle in the street

Gary Lineker can't hide his love for model girlfriend Danielle Bux as the couple cuddled each other tightly in a London street.

The couple clearly couldn't wait until they got home to show their affection, as they wrapped their arms tightly around each other while strolling on London's Kings Road.

Later the Match of the Day presenter was seen faithfully trailing his model girlfriend around the shops, carrying the shopping bags and sat patiently as Danielle tried on some sandals.

Perhaps the couple, who have enjoyed several exotic holidays together since the beginning of the year have another holiday in the offing.

Former air stewardess Bux, who is the face of La Senza lingerie, moved in with the BBC sports commentator in July.

They share a home together in Ely, Cambridgeshire but have said they have no immediate plans to marry.

The couple are frequent travellers and have taken a number of exotic trips together including Barbados, where Lineker has a £5million house, Dubai, Spain and Florida.

Former England striker Lineker, who has a £30 million fortune, divorced wife of 20 years Michelle in April 2006.

The childhood sweethearts have four sons - George, 16, Harry, 13, Tobias, 11 and Angus, nine - all of whom have recently holidayed with their father's new love in Barbados.

George looked the picture of health as he joined father Lineker and his new love on the red carpet at the Batman premiere on Monday.

He was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia at just six weeks old and received intensive treatment at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Bux meanwhile is a single mother with a five-year-old daughter Ella by former Coventry City player Adam Willis.

Mr Willis, 31, is now retired from football following a car accident and works as a PE teacher in Coventry.

He dated Miss Bux for six years.
