Miscarriage: Aamir Khan and Kiran lose their baby

Tragedy has struck the Khan household. Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao has had a miscarriage due to which they have lost their baby.

Aamir had kept this tragic news hidden from everyone else for almost two months now. Finally revealing it in his latest blog entry, Aamir states, “I have bad news folks. Kiran and I lost our baby.

Despite our best efforts we were unable to avert a miscarriage. The last 2 months have been a struggle for us and that is one of the reasons I was absent from the blog in more ways than one.”

Aamir further adds that he and K (that is what he calls Kiran) need some more time to heal and he won’t be active on his blog for a while now.

We pray to god to help the couple overcomes their personal tragedy soon and give them lot of happiness.

Kiran who is Aamir’s second wife, had recently completed the shooting of her directorial debut film, Dhobi Ghat starring Aamir and Prateik Babbar in the lead. Its post production is in progress.

Aamir finds it even difficult to pick himself up and is offered a helping hand by director A.R. Murugadoss and other unit members. It’s finally time for some first aid and immediate medical attention. The injury caused a delay in shooting the climax of the film and Aamir even spoke about this injury at length in his by now famous blog.

This was the second time that Aamir had injured himself (within a span of a few weeks) while shooting for Ghajini. Three weeks before this injury took place, Aamir had injured his inner right thigh when he had to pick up a burly villain and slam him against the wall. Shooting had to be stalled for a while (even then) till the actor recovered from his injury.

Surely with the number of times he has injured his body while shooting for this film and with all those grueling training schedules, Ghajini is a film that Aamir won’t forget for a long time to come.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao were caught at an event in the iconic Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai, one of the first since the horrific 26/11 attacks.

The couple were attending a dinner organised by watchmakers Rolex to mark the very first performance by the Vienna Philharmonic in India. The evening also had world-renowned orchestra conductor Zubin Mehta and pianist Lang Lang performing for the audience, which composed of the cream from Mumbai`s elite social circuit.

Aamir and Kiran spent their time interacting with everyone and yes, the actor also had a stream of autograph hunters to satisfy.

Dressed in jeans and a dinner jacket the actor looked at ease during the dinner that followed the event.

I've played all kinds of characters before, but never a Sardar. Although I played a Punjabi character in Rang De basanti but this is the first time as Sardar full on. When you have to get into many sets with Turban and beard. I hate this beard as it is much rubber on the very annoying. but you must do it when you need to do it.



First I was irritated because I have to put this body suit, etc. But when I put it on, and I look at me, I get excited. When I see myself looking like this other person, so I forget the discomfort. In addition to the irritation I am very particular about the wig is straight, and I look at me and I feel very happy, especially when the product comes out right.

Tata Sky is a brand I was very pleasant to associate with me because of the kind of standards it believes in.. When it comes to quality and service, and the brand Tata Sky stands for.
