Katie Price was confronted by an enraged woman in a kebab shop, hurling abuse at the former glamour model before holding up a note saying: 'You are a s**g'.

Her new boyfriend Alex Reid quickly put his protective arm around Katie as the furious blonde ambushed her at 4am in the Brighton take away.

The unidentified woman was later removed from the shop by security.

Katie appeared to be unshaken by the incident, but it is yet another example of her public profile taking a battering since her separation from Peter Andre in May.

But despite cagefighter Alex's heroics in the kebab shop, Katie is said to be angry over his appearance in upcoming gangster film Killer Bitch.

The film shows a semi-naked Alex in an unsavoury sex scene with co-star Yvette Rowland, and also features him strangling the leading lady.

It is likely to appall Katie who is desperate to promote a family-friendly image as she battles it out with Peter over custody of their children.

Killer Bitch, shot in the woods of Capel, Surrey, is described as a 'fictional full-length feature movie with real fights, real criminals and real sex'.

The plot focuses on a woman played by former children's TV actress Yvette, who takes part in a deadly game in which she has to kill five people, or all her friends and family will be murdered.

Sources close to the film said Katie made life difficult for Alex during filming by calling him constantly.

Katie's advisors have become increasingly concerned about the former glamour model's 'battered profile' and have ordered the 31-year-old to stay away from alcohol.

But, judging by the latest images of her to emerge, the model appears to be taking little heed of the advice.

She looked rather unglamorous stumbling out of a kebab shop with Alex after partying until the early hours of the morning.

Dressed in a black and gold dress and stilettos, she tucked into chips and a greasy kebab to the amusement of onlookers.

Katie, 31, is about to go on her third Mediterranean trip in three months and has been advised to keep a low profile after she was criticised for her wild behaviour on her last two holidays.

Katie is due to fly to Marbella again tomorrow for the European launch of her equestrian range and her publicity team are said to be adamant that she remains tee-total.

'Her people want nothing to detract from the range – and if she’s not drinking, then they’re on much safer ground.

'When it comes to her business Katie is a true professional so she wouldn’t want to be partying hard anyway.'

Katie has been playing the doting mother in recent weeks and was recently pictured putting on an affectionate show with seven-year-old son Harvey last week during a day out Thorpe Park in Surrey.

Her two other children Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii spent the day with their father, Katie's estranged husband Peter Andre.

She recently insisted that her relationship with Reid is not a publicity stunt.

The model went out for lunch dressed almost head to toe in shocking pink.

With just a pair of jeans breaking up the abundance of colour, she wore a striped pink polo shirt, pink sunglasses, bangles and shoes. Even her bag and mobile phone were pink.

While husband Peter Andre is working on his long-delayed fourth solo album, Katie says she wanted to expand her American presence.

The 30-year-old has signed up for acting lessons in LA and has set her sights on a primetime drama.

A friend said: 'She is desperate to break into acting. She knows she isn't going to land a top movie but fancies a TV soap.'

One of the couple's numerous reality shows debuted on US TV network E! last year.

The show, entitled Katie And Peter, described the pair as 'the super sexy couple from the other side of the pond'.

She's only been living in Los Angeles for a day, but Katie Price has already perfected the Hollywood look.

The glamour model has visited for many a surgical enhancement but is now relocating semi-permanently to try and 'break America'.

It's more often associated with dancing round your handbag than trotting round the dressage ring.

But it was to the strains of her husband Peter Andre's cheesy 1996 hit record 'Mysterious Girl' that Jordan chose to make an entrance at the Horse of the Year Show today.

Despite the incongruous accompaniment, the former topless model was cheered and applauded by the crowd as she demonstrated her equestrian skills during her showcase slot at the tweedy event.

Jordan, who now prefers to be known as Katie Price, has been keen to shrug off her tacky image and was said to be 'incredibly upset' when she was banned from attending the exclusive Cartier International Polo contest in Windsor for 'being too chavvy' earlier this year.

She added that she was serious about taking part in the 2012 Olympics, adding: 'Never underestimate Pricey.'

The astute businesswoman, who is worth £50million, also used the show to launched her KP Equestrian clothing line.

Katie Price works up a sweat as she rehearses for performance at horse show

She's been a fan of the sport since she was a mere seven-year-old girl.

But on Friday glamour girl Katie Price will perform one of her most challenging routines as she take part in the Horse of the Year Show.

The event, which is being held at the NEC in Birmingham will feature the mother-of-three performing dressage to music.

These shots show the reality TV star rehearsing and putting her horse through its paces.

In the summer Katie, formerly known as Jordan, took part in a charity polo match to help her raise funds for the Mark Davies Injured Riders fund alongside Princes William and Harry.

Katie has long spoken about her love of horses and started riding when she was just seven-years-old.

Katie and Peter? Friends fear for marriage over constant put-downs

Katie Price and her husband Peter Andre's three-year marriage is reportedly near to collapse, after it was rocked by a series of increasingly bitter rows.

The couple, who have only just returned from a trip to South Africa to renew their wedding vows, are said to have reached rock bottom.

One friend told Closer magazine that Pete, 35, was sick of being put down by his wife.

'One day, unfortunately, we will go our separate ways and we will probably be happier, but at the moment we're working hard to make this relationship work,' he said.

In recent months, Katie Price has been trying to relaunch herself as a class act, maintaining that she's more than just a glamour model.

But the artist formerly known as Jordan appeared to throw all that out the window today as she launched her second fragrance... while pouting in a tacky lingerie ensemble that left little to the imagination.

The 30-year-old posed for the cameras to promote her scent Besotted at The Paper Club on London's Regent Street.

The mother-of-three, a keen horsewoman, was told she was 'not the kind of person they wanted' when her manager tried to book a £6,000 table in the marquee hosted by nightclub Chinawhite in Windsor Great Park.

According to Chinawhite, it was simply an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Before Katie Price headed back home to the UK with her new reduced 32C bust and mysteriously plumped up lips she only had one person she had to thank.

And it was the LA surgeon who corrected her botched boob job that was the lucky receiver of a cheeky kiss and a cuddle.

On her final check up with her surgeon, Katie showed him her appreciation and it was the perfect opportunity to test drive her perfect pout.

Katie, 30, has been in Los Angeles for the last couple of weeks to have what is thought to be her fourth operation on her breasts.

It came after extensive surgery last year, including a nose job and her first reduction which left the glamour model hating her body.

Last year, Katie admitted she hated the change in her figure after surgery and immediately started planning a return trip.

But Katie had to wait a year until her breast tissue had fully recovered before she went under the knife again.

At the time she said her boobs were still too big and she had been left with unattractive and noticeable scarring.

She told OK magazine: "When I saw my boobs I was disappointed because they looked big and I wanted them to be a lot smaller.

"My words to the doctor beforehand were: 'I want to go a lot smaller. More pert. More stuck-on looking. But I still want people to think I've got big boobs."

And it seems this time she is finally happy with the result.

But before she got on the plane to make her way home, Katie headed to the shops to stock up on clothes from Kitson.

Earlier this week, she was seen unveiling her new look for the first time and it appeared she had had an extra procedure while she was on the operating table.

The former glamour model unveiled a significantly enhanced pout as she shopped in Los Angeles following her release from hospital.

And the celebrity appeared to be smiling, although with such swollen lips it was somewhat hard to tell.

The mother-of-three who made her name as glamour girl Jordan, went under the knife again to repair a 'botched' boob job, as she wanted to make them 'smaller and perkier'.

But Katie revealed in February that the reduction surgery had failed, taking her down to 32F instead.

'They hang too low when I'm standing up. I've also got indents so you can see where the implant is sitting.'

Katie's trip comes as the she has been talking about her plans to adopt another child with husband Peter Andre.

She already has two children with 35-year-old Andre: Junior, three and Princess Tiaamii, one.

The couple are also bringing up Harvey, the autistic and partially blind six-year-old son of Jordan and footballer Dwight Yorke.

'I think about it every day, but not yet. We're going to go over soon, (to Bulgaria) and I want to take a load of toys to help stimulate them and give them some love.' she told OK! Magazine.
