She looks pretty sexy most of the time, but Sarah Harding made particular effort last night in honour of her boyfriend's birthday.

In a slinky black minidress and rock-chic ankle boots, the Girls Aloud member turned more heads than usual as she arrived at London hangout Mahiki for her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane's 29th birthday.

Despite spending the day in rehearsals with her bandmates, there was no sign of fatigue from the group's wild child. On leaving the venue earlier in the day, all the girls appeared to be in high spirits

Going for a more natural make up look, with her pixie haircut neat and glossy, Sarah looked the picture of decorum last night - a far cry from the couple's usual wild nights out.

Perhaps she was attempting to play down her reputation. In Girls Aloud's upcoming autobiography 'Dreams that Glitter', Harding was quoted as saying: 'One paper called me the "slapper" of the band. I don't think so. I've never even had a one-night stand.

'I have lots of male friends but that doesn't mean I'm linked romantically with all of them.'

Club promoter Henry Conway was also courting attention outside the club - for all the wrong reasons. Dressed as a giant baby, he fuelled speculation that the singer could be pregnant.

Following a short split earlier this year, Crane broke his silence on his relationship with Harding, admitting the couple want to start a 'large family'.

In the group's upcoming autobiography Dreams That Glitter, Cole pledges to always work at her marriage and admits she has been left emotionally scarred.

She said: 'I can't hurt any more than I've been hurt, I can't cry any more than I've cried. I've been to the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, so one day I'm going to find my middle ground and be happy.'

The Girls Aloud singer is offended by the suggestion she sleeps around, claiming she's only had three long-term relationships.

What's more, Harding has her future on the mind and is already planning marriage and a family with boyfriend DJ Tom Crane.

'I think going out with the wrong men has taught me what not to accept and as I've got older I've become stronger. I won't tolerate certain behaviour, men thinking they can walk all over me, and I think some of them are threatened by that...

'Tommy's really only my third long-term relationship and it did feel different when we got together. I'm hoping to settle down with Tommy and have marriage and kids and all that.'

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding certainly lived up to her party girl reputation on a wild evening out with boyfriend Tom Crane last night.

The singer was in high spirits as she arrived at popular celebrity haunt Mahiki with her close friend Lady Victoria Hervey in tow.

Once inside, the 26-year-old blonde met up with Crane, who is a DJ at the Mayfair venue, for a long evening of partying.

But all that fun proved a little much for Sarah, who eventually left the club at 3.45am looking decidedly bleary-eyed.

Sarah's on-off romance is back in full swing after a turbulent few months, with the couple now discussing marriage.

She says now: 'I absolutely love him. He’s really good for me.

She has reportedly shrunk from a size 10 to a size 8 due to the Girls hectic tour.

A source said: ‘They’re burning at least 2,000 calories each show with all the high-tempo dance moves.

‘They have to eat more to make up for it, but sometimes they’re simply too exhausted to fit in a proper meal.’

Sarah's DJ boyfriend Tom Harding has talked of wanting a 'large family' with the beauty.

But judging from these photos a baby is not yet on the cards.

Sarah and Tom split briefly in June, after the 28-year-old reportedly became jealous of her close friendship with backing dancer Jackson Williams. At one point they were seen flirting during a flight to the South of France.

Sarah Harding's 'ex' Tom Crane gave photographers the thumbs-up as the pair left a London nightclub - sparking rumours that the couple are back together.

The Girls Aloud singer was spotted leaving the Mahiki club with DJ Crane in the early hours of Monday morning, despite reports last week that they had split.

The pair cuddled and cosied up together in the back of the limo as they drove away.

Pressure of work' was to blame for the breakup, according to Crane, who complained of never seeing Harding, 26, who recently finished a sell-out tour with the band.

During a flight to Monaco she was said to have tickled Williams' ears, fondled his neck and rested her head on his shoulder.

Crane and Harding had been together for a year before they split, and 'had a very good sex life' according to Crane, who said he ditched Harding because her pop star schedule meant the two spent hardly any time together.

Who would have thought Amy Winehouse was a fashion icon for other stars?

Well, Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding for one seems to be following the troubled soul singer's sartorial style - or rather, lack of it.

One wonders if the Back to Black singer knew Miss Harding was a fan of the less-is-more dresscode?

Along with bandmate Cheryl Cole, the pair had attended Kimberley Walsh's sister's 21st birthday party in Mayfair.

However after the celebrations Sarah and Nicola were driven away laughing and holding each other in a warm embrace.

Never one to miss out on a dodgy hair trend, Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding appears to have been bitten by the Ashes to Ashes bug as she stepped out in London on the weekend with a curly blonde hairdo.

The Girls Aloud singer's hair had been transformed into a Keeley Hawes-style eighties perm similar to the style worn by the female TV cop in retro-themed BBC1 show Ashes to Ashes.

Girls Aloud were back doing what the love most last night - performing, and of course, partying.

The group took to the stage at Sketch last night in their first London performance since returning from a visit to LA.

Dressed in flirty frocks, the girls emerged from the club in high spirits, with Nadine Coyle still clutching a wine glass as they jumped into a cab.

Sarah Harding Moves DJ Lover into New £1m Pad

Sarah Harding isn't one to waste time. The Girls Aloud singer has just bought a new £1m flat in London's Camden and moved in this week.

And even though her relationship with DJ Tom Crane has only been going steady for a few months, she's already moved him in too.

The 25-year-old, attending the Links Of London watch launch in Grosvenor Place last night, said: "I've been looking to buy a flat for ages now and I've just bought one and moved in this week.

"The kitchen isn't finished and the floorboards aren't even finished but I just couldn't wait.

"Tom has moved in too, we just decided, 'Why not?' We're mad about each other and it feels right. If it all goes wrong then fine, but why not give it a go? I'm sick of playing games with men. We've been friends for years so that's why it works so well."

Sarah had two bids on other flats in north-west London rejected before finding her perfect pad.

She added: "It's so hard to find a flat in London at the moment, I'm very lucky I can afford one, but I had two offers fall through before I found this one.

"I love it, it's a two-storey maisonette and it's really quirky, which is what I wanted. I bid £15,000 under the asking price and I still got it.

"I am gutting the entire place and redecorating to suit my taste. When I'm finished it'll probably be worth another £100,000. But finally I have a place to call home."

After the watch launch Sarah and Tom headed off for dinner to celebrate his birthday, which is today.

Sarah has earned herself a reputation as one of the capital's biggest party girls after being snapped repeatedly in various states of sobriety outside some of London's most popular nightspots.

But she insists her relationship with club DJ Tom is changing all that.

She told us: "He's a great influence on me, I'm trying to calm down now. We try to just go for dinner and stay in and not party too much, but of course I still enjoy my nights on the town."
