New Year baby for heavily pregnant Jennifer Garner?

With her baby due any day a heavily pregnant Jennifer Garner must be wondering if she will see in the New Year with a new addition to her family.

The Juno star showed off her large baby bump as she escorted her daughter to play with a friend yesterday.

Despite looking a little tired behind her dark glasses Jennifer was a hands on mother - helping three-year-old Violet and her young friends into and out of the car.

She dressed for comfort in jogging bottoms, trainers and a jersey top.

Jennifer and husband Ben Affleck only confirmed that she was expecting in August, when the actress was already five-months into the pregnancy.

She told reporters at the time: 'We're so excited, obviously... It's all good, it's great.'

The 36-year-old brunette has previously said she is 'so excited' about the new addition to the family, although she has not revealed the name or sex of the baby.

Her former Alias co-star Victor Garber says his close friend is happier than ever.

'She’s wonderful,' he says. 'She’s probably the best mother I’ve ever witnessed.'

And while Jennifer focuses on motherhood her husband is busy starring in highly-anticipated romantic comedy He's Just Not That Into You alongside Jennifer Aniston.

It was only last month that Jennifer Garner confirmed her pregnancy, but from the look of these photos she couldn't have hidden the fact much longer.

Unconfirmed reports have suggested that the 36-year-old and husband Ben Affleck could be welcoming their second baby as early as October. And Jennifer's bump certainly seems to be growing fast.

Yesterday she dressed casually in a tight fitting coral top, with a navy skirt and comfy flat flip flops.

She and daughter Violet spent the day with friends in Los Angeles, going for lunch in Santa Monica before returning to their Toluca Lake home.

Jennifer and actor Affleck married in the Caribbean in June 2005, welcoming their first child the following December.

Just a week after confirming her pregnancy Jennifer Garner showed off her blooming baby bump on a trip out to lunch in Los Angeles yesterday.

Dressed in flat gold ballet pumps, loose denim jeans and a floaty smock top the actress showed she has already mastered a comfy pregnancy style.

And she has had plenty of time to do so, with unconfirmed reports that the 36-year-old and husband Ben Affleck could be welcoming their second baby as soon as October.

Yesterday Jennifer joined her former Alias co-star Victor Garber for lunch at Orso Restaurant.

Garber, who is a close friend of the couple, revealed the pregnancy to the American Us Magazine in an interview in July.

'Yes, she is' he replied when asked if the couple were expecting.

But Garber's indiscretion seems to have done nothing to dampen the friendship. After their lunch he and onscreen daughter Jennifer disappeared for 90 minutes, leading to speculation from onlookers that he had accompanied her to the nearby Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

Matt Damon is celebrating after his wife Luciana gave birth to their second child together.

Former waitress Luciana, 32, delivered a healthy baby girl named Gia Zavala in a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday.

The couple's baby news comes the same day as Damon's best friend Ben Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner finally confirmed speculation she was pregnant with the couple's second child.

Baby Gia joins big sisters Isabella, two, and Alexia - Luciana's 10-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

The couple married in New York City Hall in December 2005 after dating for two years.

Damon, 37, met Luciana while she was working as a bartender in Miami, when he was filming comedy movie Stuck On You.

Meanwhile, the couple's friends Affleck and Garner confirmed reports they were expecting a second child.

Jennifer Garner shows off her baby bump for the first time as she checks out new family home

Pregnant Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck checked up on the construction of their new home yesterday as they prepare for the arrival of their second child.

The Alias actress' budding bump was clearly on show as she surveyed the site in Brentwood, California, which they are rumoured to be moving into upon completion.

Jennifer, who already has a 2-year-old daughter Violet with Affleck, is believed to be more than five months pregnant.

Affleck's firm friend Kevin Smith, who also starred alongside Garner in Catch and Release, said the Hollywood pair make ideal parents.

He told People magazine: 'Jen is such a Martha Stewart type. She is a perfect mum.'

And Ben is a great dad, which I found not that surprising, but it's a side of him that I never thought about before he became a dad.

'He's a great father. He loves that kid of his.'

Garner and Affleck started dating in July 2004 after splitting from Alias co-star Michael Vartan and Jennifer Lopez respectively.
