Jennifer Ellison Heavily pregnant

With her baby due any day now, Jennifer Ellison can surely be forgiven for indulging her cravings.

And it looks as if the heavily pregnant former Brookside actress is busy doing just that - unashamedly tucking into a jar of pickled onions as she arrives home from a shopping trip.

With the legend 'does my bump look big in this' emblazoned across her chest, Jennifer looked more than ready to welcome her baby.

Earlier in the day she had taken her bump shopping, stocking up on supplies in preparation for the new arrival.

The 26-year-old visited Mothercare and Mamas And Papas in Liverpool, buying baby clothes.

The baby is the first child for Jennifer and boxer Robbie Tickle.

The couple married last October in a secret ceremony in Mauritius.

Jennifer and Robbie, 29, only had two witnesses as they wed in the afternoon in the garden of the Four Seasons Hotel in Anahita.

The blonde bride walked down the aisle in a strapless empire line Jenny Packham dress - which she had chosen with the help of her stepfather Peter back in London before the ceremony.

After 17 months together, Jennifer decided to wed Tickle before the birth of their child because of her traditional values.

She said: 'Something that has been really important to me since I was a little girl is to be married before I had children.'

Jennifer is adamant she doesn't want to know the baby's sex until it is born and is hoping to have a water birth.

Mother-to-be Jennifer Ellison proudly showed off her growing bump in a stripey blue and red bikini while on holiday with fiance Robbie Tickle.

The 26-year-old actress kept touching her bare tummy and looked radiant as the couple relaxed by the pool in Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

Robbie, 30, could hardly keep his hands off the former Brookside star and Hell's Kitchen winner either.

It was a case of life imitating art when actress Jennifer Ellison was spotted wearing her slippers out in public.

The former Brookside star is currently starring in the Liverpudlian panto production of Cinderella - the story of a young woman who loses her slipper at a royal ball.

The 25-year-old looked dressed for snuggling up on the sofa than out for a shopping trip when she was spotted out and about in her native Liverpool yesterday.

Despite recovering from the flu and the below freezing temperatures in Merseyside, Jennifer was wearing a tight-fitting velour tracksuit, which revealed her midriff to the chilly day.

Clutching a black handbag, a cold-looking Ellison looked to be regretting her inappropriate wardrobe for her winter stroll.

Last week, Ellison was forced to miss six performances of Cinderella after she was struck a double blow to her health.

She tore ligaments in her shoulder after failing backstage during a costume change, then came down with flu last week.

Over Christmas, Ellison was treated to some TLC by her semi-pro boxer fiance Rob Tickle.

The couple started dating earlier this year after splitting from long-term love Tony Richardson last year.

'Why I'm loving the single life after seven years with an abusive boyfriend,' says Jennifer Ellison

Her ex-boyfriend cheated on her, smashed her over the head with a bottle and never complimented her - so it comes as little surprise that Jennifer Ellison is relishing the single life.

The former Brookside babe, 24, is determined to enjoy more girls-only holidays with pal Danielle Lloyd and the attention of other men since ending her abusive seven-year relationship with Tony Richardson.

"When I was in a relationship I was never chatted up by guys but now all that's changed," Ellison told The Sun.

Regularly voted the sexiest woman on the planet, Jennifer Ellison is relishing the single life. She says: 'I want to go on single girl's holidays and have fun with my mates'

"It's made me feel really attractive and nice. It's been good for my ego.

While Ellison admits, "I'm missing somebody - but not him (Richardson)" - she's clearly too busy and enjoying her single status too much to relinquish her single status just yet.
