Eva Longoria works up a sweat in a racy new shoot

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has sets pulses racing with a new advertising campaign for women's fashion line, Bebe Sport.

The star appears in a range of skimpy outfits as part of the shoot, including both a silver and a gold cut-out swimsuit.

In another she leans on the bonnet of a yellow sports car, while another image shows her decked out in black hot pants and a black-and-white zebra off the shoulder top, as she perches on a motorcycle.

In the adverts, which are in women's magazines in the US now, the 32-year-old is a far cry an "ugly duckling" - the nickname she recently revealed she was landed with while growing up in Texas as a child.

Eva replaced then 21-year-old actress Mischa Barton as the face of Bebe and Bebe Sport last year.

She said at the time: "I used to be an aerobics instructor so I really know what works well for that type of activity. I love how stylish and comfortable the collection is."

Although Eva has not been seen on television screens during the ongoing Hollywood writer's strike, fans can catch her in new movie, Over Her Dead Body.

She plays a woman who dies on her wedding day and returns to haunt her fiance's new love - a psychic.
