For the first time, Abhishek Bachchanwill be seen playing the role of Amitabh’s father in the movie.


The movie is being directed by Cheeni Kum fame R. Balakrishnan. Both Amitabh and Balakrishnan have tried their level best to keep Amitabh’s look under wraps.


Amitabh Bachchan has not actually gone bald for the movie. Its a very high quality mask he is wearing that makes him look really bald. In fact his head has been given a weird shape too to give the feel of the character suffering from the peculiar disease.


Movie also stars Vidya Balan opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Many parts of the movie has been shot in Delhi. In fact a metro train was specially hired for the some sequences. The movie is expected to hit the theaters by november

Fox Star Studios, who distributed oscar winner 'Slumdog Millionare' in India have reportedly picked up the rights of the Karan Johar biggie for a whopping Rs. 100 crore.

The movie has been receiving rave reviews from the critics who have managed to catch rushes of the movie. 'My name is Khan' has been receiving a lot of audience attention as it brings back the legendary pairing of the Raj and Simran of Bollywood aka Shahrukh-Kajol.
The critics who managed to hear some of music from the movie composed by trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy were overwhelmed and consider the album to be potential chartbuster.

Wiritten by Shibani Bhatija, the movie deals with a Muslim (Shah Rukh) who suffers from the Asperger syndrome, a form of autism that impacts social interaction abilities, who is arrested as a suspected terrorist in post-9/11 Los Angeles after authorities mistake his disability for suspicious behaviour.
Just as it is said, nothing sells better in Bollywood than Shahrukh Khan.. all of us await the arrival of 'Khan'.

There seems to be a lot of excitement in Shruti Haasan's life, who have made her debut with Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd's 'Luck' directed by Soham Shah! The latest news is that musician-actor Shruti Haasan has geared up to pay tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson on August 29!

As a tribute to the late pop star, a group of young singers will be performing live in Chennai. A source said, "Shruti will be performing on three Michael Jackson numbers. However, they are still to zero in on the songs. Young talents like Benny Dayal and Krish will also be performing."


The show will be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Many performers and celebrities are expected while the details of which are being finalised.


However, it's also confirmed that Shruti's father Kamal Haasan along with AR Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan and others shall attend the extravaganza! While news is abuzz that several legends from the music industry are likely to be present at the event!


Signing off, Shruti Haasan said, "It's a really big event in Chennai. It's a meeting of all musicians, who are coming together to pay tribute to the career of a great man. We are all very excited and enthusiastic about the show. We are the first city to do something like this in India."

Bollywood's 'dreamy girl' Deepika Padukone is in a state she wouldn't have dreamt of in her wildest nightmares.

While shooting for a movie with Akshay Kumar in the city of London, Deepika succumbed to fever but continued the shoot as she did not want the shooting to come to a stand still.

Noticing that her health was getting worse, the doctor was called and little did anyone know that Deepika was not suffering from just any fever, the pretty lass was down and ill with malaria.

Ever since this was discovered, her co-actor Akshay Kumar and the director of the movie refused to let Deepika shoot and advised her to take complete bed-rest.

Living up to her professionalism, Deepika stepped her foot back to sets on Saturday to make up on the time lost.

Staying away from her family in an alien city during the health crisis, Deepika found her support system in khiladi Akshay Kumar, who not only looked after her but persuaded her to stay away from shooting.

Also extending the support was boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor who kept tab on Deepika's health.

A popular pairing in Bollywood, the two actors had fallen out and which was subsequently followed by a cold war after the ouster of Ash from Shahrukh home production movie 'Chalte Chalte' due to Salman Khan's unruly behaviour on the sets of the same movie.
What followed was a dry spell during which neither actor worked with each other.

However, recently the news has spread that the two in question hav decided to bury their hatchet and feature together in a movie, which incidentally will be produced by SRK's 'Red Chillies Entertainment'.

While the other details regarding the movie are still unknown, what we hear is that the two powerhouse actors will feature together to re-create the magic like 'Devdas'.

The shooting of the movie is expected to commence in 2010.
