Britney Spears puts son's hospital drama

Britney Spears refused to let her son’s health scare spoil their trip to her hometown and bounced back with a family visit to a alligator park.

Despite the trauma caused by two-year-old Jayden James’s sudden allergic reaction at the weekend, the entire Spears clan looked happy and relaxed at the tourist attraction in Louisiana.

But the popstar made sure she kept a close eye on the toddler, clutching him tightly as he squealed in delight at the turtles and alligators.

Britney’s teenage sister Jamie-Lynn, 17, donned a pair of pink-rimmed shades for the occasion, pushing new daughter Maddie-Briann along in a pushchair.

Meanwhile, Britney kept it low-key with her trademark sunglasses, hair scraped back, a grey T-shirt and black leggings.

Her mother Lynne and father Jamie were watching over the group, as was as Britney’s bodyguard.

A police escort surrounded their two vehicles as they left Kliebert’s Gator and Turtle Park, in Hammond, after Tuesday’s hour-long visit.

It seems Britney may have reassured the boys’ father, ex-husband Kevin Federline, that she has things firmly under control.

There was no sign of the rapper on Tuesday, although he had been expected to fly to Louisiana from Los Angeles after hearing about Jayden’s suspected seizure on Sunday.

It marks the first out-of-state trip for Britney, Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden since Kevin gained full custody rights earlier this year.

'Britney was determined not to let what happened ruin their special visit to Louisiana,' said a source.

'And she wants the world to know she won’t crumble at the slightest trauma either.

'She had promised the boys they could go see the turtles and she wasn’t about to disappoint them.

Bouncing back: Jayden James has recovered from his hospital drama

'The whole family had been looking forward to daytrips together and have been glad to get things back on track.'

Jayden is said to be 'doing fine' after the frightening episode, which saw him break out in hives and become itchy and irritable.

He lapsed into a 'vague and unresponsive' state at the family’s mansion, in Kentwood, and he was rushed 25 miles to a hospital in McComb.

After spending the night at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, Jayden was released back into Britney’s care.

Reports suggest the allergic reaction may have been to takeaway fried chicken which the family ate hours before it happened.
